The Sacred Waters of The Full Moon In Scorpio
The Sacred Waters of the Full Moon in Scorpio
What wisdom flows beneath the surface? What stirs in the hidden waters of your being? Tune into your inner ocean here, your heart, what is speaking to you?
As Grandmother Moon waxes into her fullness in the sign of Scorpio on Tuesday, in the early hours of the morning (2:56am), the energies stir deep within. This isn’t a light or airy moon. It’s not surface level. It’s a full-bodied descent into the shadows, into truth, into emotional undercurrents. And yet this descent—this unraveling—is sacred. Under her glow on Monday evening I will be sitting in ritual. I will be basking in her light, her power, her wisdom. Will you also join her?
Scorpio is the water sign of death and rebirth, the alchemist. She whispers of transformation. She doesn’t do shallow. She moves in tides and depths and asks us to meet ourselves there too. If you have a close friend in your life who is a Scorpio Sun, you know this to be true. One of my closest friends is, and she is this. She is the alchemist and one of the deepest, most pushy women I know, ensuring I am matching myself and my goals. And I adore her greatly.
For anyone who has read my blogs, or followed me for a time, you know I love the Full Moon, it’s my favourite phase of Grandmother Moon. Why? Because we are growing, we are shedding the energy that is no longer aligned to us, no longer serving where we are going. And this Full Moon is no exception, it offers a potent moment for emotional clearing, ritual and shedding—a return to our truth. As with all Full Moons we are asked to seek what inside of us no longer serves and this is amplified by Scorpio, we are asked to delve into the realm of our inner ocean, our heart. What lies there that is ready to be swept away? You already have all the answers, but the question is, are you ready to listen?
For quite some time now, I find myself ovulating under the Full Moon, my body in its own peak of ripeness and vitality. Ovulation brings an outward surge of energy, sensuality and creativity. The body is full, ripe, magnetic. It hums with life force. Traditionally, ovulation aligns with the Full Moon—the Mother phase, a time of fertility, radiance and connection. It’s when we’re most visible, most potent, most available for co-creation with Spirit and the world around us. And yet, this Scorpio Full Moon draws me inward—into the womb-space, into the waters of emotion, into shadow. It’s a moon that asks us to shed, release and go deep.
To ovulate with the Full Moon in Scorpio is to stand at the crossroads of life and death, creation and destruction. I find myself feeling the sensation, as if I truly am standing on the ground of a crossroads, looking left, looking right, looking ahead of me, and behind. Which way do I choose to go? This can be felt as the tension of opposites—the body expanding while the soul descends. It reminds me that the power that stirs within us is always guiding us, that we can be fertile and grieving, sensual and shedding. That our cyclical nature is sacred and never linear.
This is the kind of fertile ground Scorpio loves—when we are full enough to feel it all. When we hold space for the paradoxes of being alive.
So this moon, I honour both.
The light of my ovulation and the dark of my descent.
The beauty of creation and the potency of what must be surrendered.
This duality of expansion and depth… it’s teaching me something… That even in our most radiant states, there is space for softness. A space, an offering to be gentle, to soften into what’s been shown. That even when we shine, we must still honour the parts of us grieving, shifting, releasing. We can smile and cry, feel despair and joy, all of love is duality and we are inviting to feel all.
This is not a moon to bypass. This is a moon to honour. As some of you may know, I have been working with Grandmother Moon for many moon cycles now, and every turn of the moon, every cycle I feel differently, my rituals shift. Yes, Full Moon is the shedding, the release, but it looks and feels different every time. We are different every time. Grandmother Moon is a beautiful ally in growth and understanding of Self and I invite you to work alongside her.
Ritual becomes essential now— as a return. Ritual is a space to feel into all, to bring the tangible in with the energetic, to physically be practicing something to bring forth all that we feel and sense.
Draw a bath with herbs or salt to cleanse. Mist your body with sacred waters. Create an altar dedicated to the Spirit of Water, or Grandmother Moon. Drum and notice how you feel as you hear the sounds, feel the sounds vibrating through your body. Cry. Breathe. Trust in what you feel called to do.
Let your feelings be felt. Let the old fall away. Let water guide you through change.
Scorpio reminds us that nothing real can be destroyed. Only illusions fall. So ask yourself, gently but honestly:
What am I clinging to that is already dying?
What emotion have I not fully allowed myself to feel?
Where am I ready to surrender, so I can rise anew?
And should you wish to not journey through this alone, to have a guide for this Full Moon, I offer space to journey with you—whether through a 1:1 Energy Medicine Session, a sacred Divination Reading, or a Ritualistic Space, dedicated to your needs in this time, I am here to guide you. You may wish to sit in ritual alone, to feel alone but are looking for tools, perhaps with one of my ritual mists in hand, letting the essence of water speak. Rituals aren’t all about the aesthetics, sure it looks nice, and it feels fun to craft and create. But a ritual can be you sitting outside with a candle and howling at the moon. It’s whatever feels right for you.
And if you would like to do this alone, would like to bask in her energy and feel into your own inner ocean and are looking for ideas, well…
Ritual Suggestions for this Full Moon.

Mist yourself and your space—clearing energetic debris with intention.
Journal beneath the moonlight: What am I ready to release? What is asking to be felt?
Cleanse your altar and your womb space with smoke, sound or sacred oils.
Howl. Cry. Breathe deep into your pelvis.
Honour the waters in you. They know the way.
These are suggestions, small, simple ways to honour Self and the Full Moon, what calls to you? A mixture of some? Trust in what you feel called to. And know I am here to guide you should you wish to book a session.
It’s become a part of my moon blogs to offer guidance based around the Elements of the signs, this feels more true to me, my offerings and how I work. Find your Sun sign, and maybe look at your Moon and Rising too. Feel into this and notice what lands for you.
Elemental Guidance for the Full Moon in Scorpio.
Each sign carries its own elemental frequency and Scorpio’s is Water—deep, intuitive, emotional and regenerative. As this Full Moon rises in Scorpio, its elemental medicine invites us into ritual, release and resurrection. Below is how each element might be feeling this Full Moon—and how to tend to your inner workings.
Water Signs (Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces):
This moon is your native language. Emotions may feel heightened, raw or even overwhelming. Allow them. Let the tears come. Water is your guide—ritual bathing, misting or sea walks will offer deep recalibration. Protect your boundaries and retreat when needed. Your intuition is speaking clearly now.
Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn):
You’re being asked to loosen the grip, soften the structure and let go of control. This moon may stir up buried emotions you thought were dealt with—allow space for them to be seen. Ground through touch: clay, soil, body oiling or walking barefoot under the moonlight. Let Earth and Water merge in you.
Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius):
Your mind may want to analyse or distance from the depth Scorpio demands. Drop into the body. Let breath be your anchor to the present. Journaling, vocal expression or breathwork will help move stagnant energy. Watch your thoughts—they may be messengers of an emotional truth wanting to surface.
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius):
The intensity of this moon may either inspire deep passion or bring emotional friction. Rather than reacting, slow down and listen. Use this time to create sacred fire rituals—candle gazing, releasing fears into flame or body movement through dance to move what’s stuck. You are being softened so you can burn brighter, cleaner.
This is ritual work. Soul work. Elemental work.
Let it move through you.
With love and deep reverence,
TJ
