New Moon in Aries: Igniting Your Warrior Spirit.

New Moon in Aries & Partial Solar Eclipse - Igniting Your Warrior Spirit.

New Moon: Saturday, March 29th at 9:58pm AEDT, Partial Solar Eclipse at 9:47pm AEDT. If possible, take two minutes from 9:57pm - 9:59pm to be in the peak of the New Moon, the moment when Grandmother Moon is the darkest.

As we step into the New Moon in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, we are invited to harness the powerful energy of initiation and action. This New Moon paired with a Partial Solar Eclipse marks a time of deep transformation; urging us to embrace bold new beginnings and shed the layers that no longer serve our path.

In the Southern Hemisphere Aries marks the beginning of autumn— a season of change, introspection and deepening roots. With the Autumn Equinox that occurred on March 20th, the balance of light and dark brings a moment of reflection before the descent into the darker half of the year. Aries energy, while fiery and full of dynamic force also calls us to reflect on how we want to move forward with purpose and clarity. As the days grow shorter, the nights colder we are reminded to go within, to allow the slowness of the approaching winter months, to shed, to allow what needs to die, to die in order for the new to be born.

As I get older I find my love for Autumn and Winter growing. I find myself gazing at the trees in awe of the changing colours, wondering in what order do the leaves drop; and which leaf decides to let go first? I wonder which ones hold on and if they hold on out of fear of death or not knowing what lies ahead? I ask myself that too, what is it that I am holding onto that I fear letting go of? What am I grasping so tightly that is ready to die?

These thoughts resonate deeply with the energy of the Inner Winter Oracle, my very own deck soon to be released this Winter Solstice. As we step into the darker, more introspective months, these cards are a reminder to pause and reflect. Just like the leaves, what are we holding onto that we can finally release to make space for the new to emerge? The wisdom of the deck will guide us through these sacred questions, helping us to tune into the quiet whispers of our inner winter, where we can shed what no longer serves and embrace transformation.

I ponder these questions as I stare at the trees around the beautiful property where I live now, and acknowledge the fallen leaves in a different way than what I used to. I see them as brave for letting go instead of weak for falling. It’s amazing what a shift in perspective can give us. Here, on this property I am surrounded by nature, by quiet trees standing so tall, and rolling hills. I am blessed for the tranquility, especially when having 4 dogs on the property can take away that quiet sometimes; but here in those quiet moments, when the dogs are laying in the sun I am propelled into reflection of the seasonal changes and the transformation it offers each and every one of us here on this Earthly realm.

Just as the leaves fall with grace and trust in the natural cycle of life, we too can trust that letting go of old energies will make room for new growth and soon, the Inner Winter Oracle will help you explore what this growth might look like.

The Aries New Moon offers us the most wonderful opportunity to set intentions and plant the seeds for what we want to manifest in the coming months. Aries energy is bold, brave and filled with an instinctive desire to act—ideal for those ready to take the first steps toward a new creative project, personal goal or dream. I myself am facilitating a Blessingway for a dear client, turned dearest friend and sister; an honour that I am deeply grateful for, and to hold this space with beautiful woman to honour and bless the maiden to mother and the baby to come— what a divine way to welcome in the New Moon. To welcome the Blessing of this child to come.

As I won’t be offering any guided Ritualistic Space for the New Moon below are some manifestation practices for the New Moon in Aries:

• Ground your intentions: Sit quietly and connect with your breath. As you breathe, feel your roots grow deep into the earth, grounding you in the present moment. Formulate your desires with clarity and passion, knowing that Aries is all about action and purpose.

• Realise where you are holding yourself back: Read over what you are wanting to call in and see where it is you are standing in your own way. Be honest with yourself; we are each our own worst blockages.

• Guided Meditation: Enter a meditative state, imagining the path before you. See yourself walking confidently, taking the bold steps needed to manifest your desires. Allow your intuition to guide you to what you truly seek.

With Aries’ fiery energy comes a need to stay grounded and balanced. During this time we may feel a rush of new ideas or heightened emotions, so it’s important to care for our energy and ensure it remains clear and centred. It can be easy to be caught up in the thinking of what we are desiring or wanting to call in, but to be grounded, to be present in our intentions is what truly matters. And it brings peace and calm to the mind.

Things I find help me:

• Grounding Practices: Spend time barefoot on the earth (for anyone that knows me knows I don’t wear shoes, I wonder how a Victoria winter will go with that!) or meditate while visualising roots growing from the soles of your feet deep into the ground. This will help to anchor your energy and keep you steady during the dynamic Aries energy, or purchase one of my Grounding Sprays (50ml & 200ml available), stabilise your energy. These rich, earthy scents offer a soothing balance for the intensity of Aries, helping you stay connected to your centre.

• Cleansing: Use cleansing allies or purchase one of my Cleansing Sprays (50ml & 200ml available), which offer a refreshing energy cleanse, clearing away any stagnant or chaotic energy. Let this purify your space, creating room for fresh intentions to emerge.

As the New Moon in Aries invites bold transformation, the cleansing and grounding sprays play a crucial role in ensuring your energy remains clear and balanced. The Cleansing Spray with Clary Sage and Eucalyptus clears any unwanted energy, allowing space for new possibilities. The Grounding Spray, made with Clove, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Frankincense, stabilises your energetic field, keeping you rooted and focused as you step into this powerful phase of new beginnings.

• Breathwork: Deep, slow breaths can help you regulate your energy. Focus on inhaling through your nose for a count of four, holding for four counts and exhaling slowly for eight counts. This practice helps balance your fire energy and brings calm.

These are things you can do yourself or I would be honoured to guide you in Ritualistic Space, or hold and nurture you through Energy Medicine, a healing session remote for those not near me in Victoria, or in person amongst the trees.

As we align with the elemental wisdom of the zodiac, each sign brings its own unique energy and Aries is Fire—passionate, dynamic and courageous. Understanding the elemental nature of your sign will provide guidance for how best to work with their energy during this potent time.

For Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius):

• The energy of the Fire element amplifies your courage and drive. This is your moment to charge forward with fearless intentions. Trust that the universe supports your bold actions and adventurous spirit. You’re primed to take the leap—be the torchbearer of your dreams.

For Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn):

• Earth signs bring stability, grounding and nurturing energy. During this time, find moments to steady your energy and avoid rushing. The Fire of Aries may push you to act swiftly, but trust that the seeds you plant now will need time to grow. Practice patience and faith in the natural flow of life.

For Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius):

• The Air element provides intellectual clarity and connection. Aries’ fire fuels your ideas, but be mindful not to scatter your focus. Use this New Moon to refine your plans, set clear intentions and act on the strategies that feel aligned with your authentic self.

For Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces):

• Water signs feel the deepest currents of emotion and intuition. Aries energy may feel like a spark in your deep waters, urging you to take bold emotional steps. This is the perfect time to cleanse your emotional body and trust your inner wisdom to guide you as you embark on a new cycle of growth.

I always find this so interesting, grouping the signs based on the elemental sign, but I have found it works wonders. The more I delve into this, the more I see the truth in this. And if you want to delve even further, read your big 3 (sun, moon and rising sign). I myself am Earth, Earth, Fire— this blends both grounded, nurturing energies and dynamic, fiery energies, which may initially seem contradictory. However, the interplay between Earth and Fire creates a rich, transformative balance. When working with the New Moon in Aries; I am naturally guided to take bold, fiery actions (thanks to my Rising in Fire), but as someone with Earth Sun and Moon, I also have the wisdom to know when to take a step back and ground before jumping in. My journey this season is to honour both energies, using my inner Fire to push forward with inspiration and my Earth qualities to ensure every step is rooted in my authenticity and purpose.

What does yours look like? Are you curious to delve deeper? Book in a Divination with me and leave a comment of your big 3.

Much like the bold energy of Aries, my own journey this season has led me to deeper connections with nature’s wisdom, including working with herbs in a more profound way as I work on a project with a dear friend Sarah, from Daughters of Eve. She has a wealth of knowledge and handcrafts all her medicine grown in her garden; it’s beautiful to witness. As much as it’s my dream to have my own garden of plants and herbs I’m not there yet, but to support a dear sister who is feels just as wonderful and I highly recommend Sarah. She has been crafting tinctures and elixirs for me for a clients birth and from this my passion for herbs and their properties has gone into overdrive.

During Aries seasons herbs that are cooling, calming and nourishing are essential. As Aries rules the head, fiery energy can create tension, so it’s important to support the nervous system and digestion during this time.

• Peppermint: Cooling and refreshing, peppermint can aid in digestion and clarity, helping to calm the fire within.

• Nettle: Full of nutrients and minerals, nettle supports the body’s energy and helps maintain balance throughout Aries’ high-energy period.

• Lavender: With its calming properties, lavender balances excess heat and provides emotional support during this intense season.

I myself create sprays for the environment or teas, but if you’re looking for nourishing medicine, reach out to Sarah and join her mailing list as that’s the way to receive her magick now!

The New Moon is always a time for going inward, but with Aries it is also a time to take bold action. Use this time for shamanic journeying and connecting with your inner wisdom.

• Journeying: Sit in meditation or lay down with a drumming rhythm, inviting your spirit guides to help you navigate the coming cycle. Ask for clarity on your path, the steps you must take and how you can harness the full power of Aries. To learn this in a safe and profound way I highly recommend my teacher Sharon Bolt — her training “Temple of Spirits” is a new and evolved way of journeying.

• Fire Ritual: Aries is ruled by the element of fire, so this is an ideal time for a fire ritual. Light a candle and gaze into the flame feeling, sensing and imaging all you desire is here in the present. Allow the feeling to flood you, continuing to gaze at the flame. Let the candle burn down and with it, notice the feeling of what you are calling in setting into your being.

If you use any of these practices, please feel free to reach out and share with me your experiences. It’s beautiful and heart warming to hear of your journey.

Throughout April, the energy will continue to offer space for deep transformation and I am holding online containers to guide you on your journey. Optional for in person if you are close by. These spaces will provide healing, empowerment and support as you align with your highest self and your intentions. These containers are completely tailored to you, your needs and what intentions you have. Feel free to message me or book a free consultation.

With the most excitement, in-person sessions are back and available in Red Hill, Victoria. Whether you are seeking Energy Medicine, Shamanic practices, or Divination, these sessions offer a powerful space for transformation. My partner is building me the most beautiful deck and pergola around my bungalow here on the property and the vision I have for in person sessions is divine. I am booked out the first 2 weeks of April so please reach out if you are interested.

My intention as always with these blogs is to aid someone in some way. Whether the insights for your sign, the understanding of the moon or a delve into my world, I hope you found inspiration. I hope this New Moon in Aries ignites your passion and fuels your journey ahead.

May the fire within you burn bright and may you move forward with both courage and grounded wisdom. Step into your power, knowing you are always supported by the Earth beneath you and the fire within you.

With love and fire,

TJ
